Meet the Barbers of Team Rico's.

Mr. Washington is a proud native of Mobile, Alabama. After retiring from the Marine Corps in 1994, he completed Barber College in San Diego, California, while receiving his Master Barber’s License that same year. He has a proven record of accomplishments, operating, and managing businesses in the haircare industry. He previously owned and operated Tri-City Square Barber Shop, in Vista, California. He is the owner and founder of both Rico’s Barber Shop, Rico’s Hair Fashion Design and Barber Shop in Murrieta, California. He is now the sole owner and operator of Rico’s Barber Shop & Styles in Murrieta. He has served on the Orange County Barbering Apprenticeship Council and is currently serving as Coordinator for the San Bernardino/Riverside Counties Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC).
Charles is a prominent member of the barbering and residential community. He has been instrumental in helping prospective barbers in their pursuit and acclimation into the haircare industry. Many of which have grasp the finer aspects of business operation and moved on to start their business challenges. Upon arrival to the Inland Empire region, Charles volunteered to work at the Poll on Election Days, this lead him to found the Murrieta Unified Political Action Committee (MUPAC). During his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with family, playing golf, and mentoring young men into becoming productive citizens. In past years, before retiring after 33 years, he was a sports referee at the high school level in San Diego County. He holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from University of Phoenix and is in the process of writing his dissertation for his Doctorate in Business from Argosy University.

Reggie is a native New Yorker, born in Harlem. He grew up in Durham, North Carolina after his parents relocated. He graduated from high school in 1990. Reggie said he hung out for a couple of years, trying to determine what career he wanted to pursue. The light came on in 1993, when he enrolled in Kappatal Cuts Barber School, located in Norfolk, Virginia.
After obtaining his credentials, he worked at various barbershops in the Norfolk area to hone his skills. In 1998, Reggie felt his skills were proficient enough to strike out on his own. He relocated to San Diego, California and opened his own shop in El Cajon, California. In 2004, Reggie moved 50 miles northward to Menifee, California where he commuted six days a week operating his business. February 2008 he became a Team Rico’s member. During his past time, he enjoys watching all sports, hanging with the family and just plain old relaxing.
